Job description:

- Repair and maintenance of rotating machineries, diesel engine, transmission, motor, gearbox, etc
- Generate service and commissioning reports upon job completion.
- Perform simple defect diagnostic on assigned machineries.
- Perform repair and maintenance of workshop equipment.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- To perform incoming and final acceptance test for units.
- Assign job number and create sales order upon order confirmation.
- Responsible for filing, tracking and monitoring of warranty claims.
- Draft inspection report and inform Sales on any additional scope of work.
- Assign parts / inventory to Workshop Supervisor.
- Request for parts / inventory from master warehouse DC if required.
- Monitor and replenish MOQ stock for Power Trans warehouse.
- Perform inventory transfer via ERP system (SAGE).
- Perform data entry in ERP system (SAGE), from sales orders to invoicing.
- Draft service / final acceptance report upon work completion.
- Supervise, develop and coach staff.
- Any other tasks assigned by immediate supervisor.

Qualification:

- GCE 'O' level or equivalent
- Minimum 2 to 4 years as Technician in industrial equipment sectors and marine industries
- Good knowledge of mechanical & electrical parts & services
- Good negotiation and communications skills
