This is an opportunity to be a significant contributor to a very professional, skilled and rapidly growing team. Analysts at Equiteq have significant responsibility, advancement opportunities, client access and future international options in our London, New York and Sydney locations. We are looking to hire immediately to build our entrepreneurial team in our office in Singapore. The M&A Analyst reports to the M&A director.

**Key Responsibilities and Challenges**:

- Identify, build, and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Research and prepare presentations which identify and explain industry trends
- Prepare confidential models, information memorandums, presentations and marketing documents in support of sale transactions
- Support execution of Mergers & Acquisition assignments in all respects, both on the sell-side and buy-side

**Professional Experience Required**:

- Exemplary academic record and demonstrated commitment to achievement
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, including knowledge of financial accounting
- Excellent industry analysis and ability to abstract trends and insights from primary data
- Previous experience in Private Equity or Mergers and Acquisitions is appreciated
- Specific interest for the IT Services, Technology and knowledge economy sector

**Attributes and Experience Required**:

- Impact - must present themselves at all times as somebody a client would want in their corner.
- Resilient - able to work under high pressure. This person will be a self-starter, assertive, with a high degree of self-confidence, maturity and good executive presence.
- Fastidious - have a methodical, process-driven nature that anticipates future project issues and problems before they occur.
- Strong Commitment - to the job with ability and willingness to work long hours and on weekends

**Education/Qualifications**:

- Qualification to degree level in an appropriate discipline
- FSA qualification desired, but not essential.
