**Roles & Responsibilities**

**What you will do?**

We are looking for a storyteller who can be comfortable in a hybrid role as both designer and writer, working hands-on with the team to shepherd their own stories from inception to gameplay. You will be defining the story behind locations or objects, designing the narrative of missions, building story arcs, contributing to building the player’s emotional journey.

**Responsibilities**:

- Crafting narrative structure, script gameplay and write dialogue to support your intentions
- Ensure the consistency of the game’s narrative voice and execution on creative vision throughout production, from initial concept and foundational development, character development, important narrative milestones, through to final polish
- Under the direction of the Game Director, act as a champion of story, characters, thematic coherence and Narrative through gameplay across development
- Supporting narrative and design needs of other departments
- Supporting other writing, design, narrative, and lore needs of the game, as needed or directed.

**Requirements**:

- An understanding of storytelling
- 2-3 years as a professional designer with experience in Game Design and knowledge of contemporary gameplay and narrative design.
- Experience creating, designing, or directing game stories or other storytelling experiences.
- Experience with open world games or games with non-linear narrative structures
- Excellent English communication, organization, and written skills.
- Be collaborative. We go through a lot of internal review, be able to work with constructive criticism and incorporate notes into revisions.
- A good balance of technical and creative ambition
