**Counsellor - ADHD-Informed Intervention**:
**Full-Time**

**Overview**:
Unlocking ADHD is a non-profit organisation committed to empowering individuals with ADHD and their families through advocacy, education, and support. We are seeking a passionate counsellor to deliver ADHD-informed therapeutic support and co-develop structured counselling workflows within our case management system.

This role blends frontline counselling with behind-the-scenes program design, making it ideal for someone who is both clinically grounded and process-oriented.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**_1. ADHD-Informed Counselling & Case Management _**
- Provide individual, family, and group counselling using ADHD-informed approaches tailored to the unique needs of neurodivergent clients.
- Manage caseloads, conduct needs assessments, and make appropriate referrals to relevant community or school-based resources.
- Deliver psychoeducation to caregivers and families on ADHD-specific support strategies, executive functioning, and emotional regulation.
- Support clients through helplines, drop-ins, or scheduled appointments, providing brief interventions or longer-term support as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely case documentation, using an ADHD-sensitive lens in progress tracking and goal setting.

**_2. Workflow & System Development _**
- Collaborate with the Senior Counsellor to develop SOPs, counselling workflows, and documentation protocols within the organisation’s case management system, Plato.
- Contribute to the design and refinement of ADHD-informed intake, assessment, and intervention procedures.
- Assist in monitoring programme delivery and clinical processes to ensure fidelity and continuous improvement.

**_3. Professional Development & Knowledge Sharing _**
- Attend clinical supervision sessions, training, and engage in reflective practice to deepen competence in ADHD-specific counselling.
- Contribute to team learning by sharing clinical insights, research findings, and relevant case studies.
- Stay updated on developments in neurodiversity-affirming therapeutic models and emerging best practices.

**_4. Programme Design & Facilitation _**
- Assist in planning and facilitating ADHD-focused workshops, support groups, or psychoeducational sessions for youths, caregivers, or educators.
- Support programme evaluation and feedback collection to enhance the relevance and effectiveness of interventions.
- Participate in outreach and awareness initiatives to promote early intervention and reduce stigma around ADHD.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Master’s Degree in Counselling, Counselling Psychology, or a related field.
- Must be a Clinical Member or Provisional Clinical Member of the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC).
- 2 years of counselling experience (experience working with ADHD, neurodivergent, or special needs clients preferred).
- Excellent case conceptualisation and care planning abilities.
- Familiar with digital tools and platforms, particularly case management systems.
- Committed to supporting children, youths, and families within a strengths-based, systemic framework.
- Collaborative, self-motivated, and eager to contribute to an evolving organisation.

**Nice to Have**:

- Experience designing counselling SOPs, clinical workflows, or programme documentation.
- Group facilitation experience (e.g. parent training, support groups).
- Prior involvement in community mental health, education, or family support services.
