**Analyst, Financial Reporting & Accounting**

Singapore - Hybrid working mode

In this role, you will join the Finance & Accounting department that is responsible for providing finance support specifically involved in regulatory reporting, accounting, reconciliations and financial reporting to internal and/or external stakeholders.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Assist in month end regulatory reporting, including month end reconciliation of TB and schedules.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation and profit & loss reconciliation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Handle intercompany reconciliation and settlement.
- Assist in the preparation/ review of quarterly working files for MAS reporting.
- Review quarterly MAS returns prepared by team member to ensure accuracy in submissions.
- Prepare quarterly financial reports for management’s presentation.
- Manage all filing deadlines and ensure compliance to reporting standards, for both group reporting and local reporting.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure audit deliverables are produced and issued on a timely manner.
- Involved in the quarterly and annual closing process by assisting to review the local regulatory forms and prepare group reporting deliverables and other regulatory forms.
- Manage the requests and queries from internal and external stakeholders (i.e., group finance, operations, actuarial, external auditors, consultant)

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

- Degree in Accountancy &/or recognized accounting qualification ACCA/CPA/CIMA.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of working experience (at least 1 years of experience in similar capacity in the General Insurance/ Reinsurance industry).
- Ideally internal / external audit experience with a strong focus in the insurance market and basic knowledge of MAS Risk Based Capital (RBC) Framework.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently and under own initiative.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a meticulous eye for identifying inconsistencies or inaccuracies in data entry or data outputs
- Able to organise self (and others if applicable) including effective scheduling, prioritisation and time management skills, completing tasks to tight deadlines. Demonstrates a 'can do' attitude
- Comfortable taking ownership for own work, identifying the need for action (using initiative) whilst working effectively within a team.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point
