Senior Director of Fundraising

**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy for the company, focusing on the Fintech and Wealthtech sectors.
- Identify and engage with potential investors, including venture capital firms, private equity firms, institutional investors, and strategic partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, financial institutions, and industry experts.
- Lead and manage the end-to-end fundraising process, including preparing investment materials, conducting due diligence, negotiating deal terms, and closing investment agreements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between fundraising efforts and overall business goals.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities and industry trends.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements within the Fintech and Wealthtech sectors.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to the executive team regarding potential M&A opportunities and IPO readiness.
- Work closely with legal and finance teams to ensure all legal and financial aspects of fundraising and M&A transactions are properly executed.
- Monitor and evaluate the financial performance of the company and present reports to the executive team and investors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in fund raising, M&A, or investment banking, with a focus on the Fintech and Wealthtech sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully raising funds from venture capital firms, private equity firms, or institutional investors in the Fintech or Wealthtech space.
- Strong understanding of the Fintech and Wealthtech industries, including market trends, key players, and regulatory landscape.
- Experience in negotiating and closing M&A transactions, as well as preparing companies for IPOs, is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and entrepreneurial environment.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
