**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Inspection & Maintenance**
- Perform scheduled inspections and routine maintenance of AED devices.
- Check device readiness, including battery levels, electrode pad conditions, and overall functionality.
- Update software and firmware on AEDs as per manufacturer requirements.

**2. Testing & Troubleshooting**
- Conduct diagnostics and functional tests to identify and resolve issues.
- Replace or repair faulty parts, including batteries, electrodes, and cables.

**3. Documentation & Reporting**
- Maintain detailed service logs for each AED device.
- Provide clients with reports on maintenance activities, device status, and recommendations.

**4. Compliance & Standards**
- Ensure all AEDs meet local regulations, safety standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Verify proper placement, visibility, and signage of AED units at client sites.

**5. Client Support**
- Educate clients on AED readiness and basic troubleshooting.
- Respond promptly to service requests or emergency maintenance needs.

**6. Inventory Management**
- Monitor stock levels of AED components such as batteries and pads.
- Coordinate reordering of supplies to avoid service disruptions.

**7. Continuous Improvement**
- Stay updated on new AED models, technologies, and maintenance techniques.
- Attend relevant training sessions or certification programs.

**8. Qualifications**:

- Education**: Diploma or certificate in electronics, biomedical engineering, or a related technical field.
**- Experience**:

- Prior experience in AED maintenance or similar technical service roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and maintenance procedures for electronic devices.
**- Skills**:

- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow manufacturer guidelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and client interactions.
**- Certifications**: AED servicing certification or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).

**Other Requirements**:

- Willingness to travel to client locations for on-site servicing.
- Ability to work independently and manage schedules effectively.
- Valid driver’s license (if field service is required).
