- Able to perform rotating day and night shift.
- Minimum 3-5 years machining experience in an aerospace environment.

ALG is currently looking for a **Machinist** for our growing aerospace client in Singapore. This is a full-time permanent position employed directly under the client.
- Set up and machine parts, fixtures and tooling. Work performed requires experience and initiative and the ability to perform regular duties under mínimal supervision.
- Assist and interact with other department and engineering personnel during duties Accurately sort, label, and store goods.
- Understand and adhere to all work instructions associated with the work you are performing.
- Comply with all company and safety rules and regulations during course of duties. (Proper PPE)
- Perform jobs in priority order unless instructed otherwise.
- IAW the required technical data referred to in your job traveler. (operation sheets, engine manuals, OEM SPM's, written instructions from engineering):

- Set up machining fixtures, tooling and inserts for turning, grinding or milling. Measure, mark and scribe dimensional and reference points on materials. Determine datum for locating parts not previously in production.
- Align fixtures and cutting tools. Set specified rotation speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut.
- Machine part while monitoring cutting action of machine to detect excessive wear or malfunction.
- Perform pressure testing as required.
- Use indicators, calipers, venires, micrometers and gauges to check work and verify conformance of finished part to specifications.
- Request on-machine inspections as required.
- Perform TPM'S.
- Report nonconformance's related to parts, paperwork, equipment, tooling or materials to the immediate Cell Leader.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices on machines and in work area.

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum 3-5 years machining experience in an aerospace environment.
- Able to perform rotating day and night shift.
- Basic shop math, read, write, and interpret English, basic mechanical skills, effectively utilize lifting devices, ability to interpret travelers and work instructions, ability to verify log and procedures for accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask and good communications skills.
