Labeling Operations Manager

The global Monetization Integrity team ensures TikTok users have a safe experience while viewing advertisements. They work closely with advertisers to create ad policies, manage content review processes, and more. As we continue to add advertising on TikTok, this team is critical in assuring a joyful and creative ads experience for the community.

As a Labeling (Model Optimisation) Manager, you will lead a team of MOS (model optimisation specialists) and Labeling Leads. You will work closely with XFN teams (WFM, Vendors, DCC, BI, etc) to enhance, maintain, and build new Labeling procedures and improve the capabilities and intelligence of our Models (Machines). Your team will be responsible for overall Labeling's performance, ensuring on time project delivery while meeting KPIs, playing a fundamental and pivotal role when engaging with our In-House Vendor Ops Management team to ensure vendor performance in Labeling related projects, conducting deep dive RCAs and metrics analysis, and making recommendations to drive continuous quality and process improvement.

Main Responsibilities
- Coach and support a team of Labeling Team Leads to develop and enhance Labeling procedures, Performance management methods and KPI tracking
- Lead team capacity, forecasting, and resource allocation whilst accurately evaluating performance of team members and providing direct and actionable feedback
- Collaborate to define and drive quality standards and execute strategies to consistently maximize impact and efficiency
- Set up realistic and stretched goals and KPI metrics, monitor performance and drive efficient actions
- Ensure that our IH teams and BPO partners meet and exceed quality targets and provide support needed to achieve objective deep dives, collate reports, policy recommendations and triage escalations
- Identify and provide frequent business and operational quantitative insights to develop, optimize and standardize Labeling processes across geographies.
- Work with cross-functional partners across Product, Policy, Engineering, Strategy, Operations teams to identify, formulate and implement scaled solutions
- Investigate and track emerging opportunities in the TikTok Ads ecosystem and synthesizes analysis to deliver compelling recommendations to leadership
- Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale

**Requirements**:
Management experience in a high-volume and fast-pace environment
Experience managing large teams within the digital space
Proven ability to lead effectively, prioritize projects, and ensure the delivery of high quality work under time constraints
Experience in a policy, content or advertising moderation and training environment
Ability to interpret and present data with excellent communication skills
Experience establishing and implementing quality standards, measurements and processes at scale
Ability to communicate and influence across teams and regions; finding win-win solutions that meet the objectives of cross-functional partners while balancing risk
Proficiency in written and spoken English is required, plus any additional languages would be an advantage
Some experience with SQL or language programming is a plus, but not essential
