**Roles & Responsibilities**

**EvolutionX Debt Capital** is a US$500 million growth stage debt financing platform by DBS and Temasek. Headquartered in Singapore, EvolutionX Debt Capital will provide non-dilutive financing to growth stage technology companies across Asia, with a focus on China, India and South East Asia. The fund is looking for exceptional Associates to join our investment team. As part of the investments team, you will play an active role in research, deal sourcing, due diligence, structuring, financing transactions as well as portfolio management.

**Core functions/Responsibilities**:

- Leading the process of identifying and assessing investment & lending opportunities in growth stage companies (Series C+) in tech/tech-enabled sectors across India, China & South East Asia
- Conducting sector research & target company screening, undertaking due diligence, building detailed financial models and termsheets, deal structuring, negotiations, drafting of investment papers, co-ordination of internal team meetings & approval processes and participating in investment execution (including legal documentation)
- Regular tracking & updates of portfolio company performance, related fund cash flow management and capital deployment
- Establishing and cultivating relationships with VC-backed companies and external partners (lawyers, accountants, financial advisors etc.) and other relevant institutions for business development
- Coordinating with internal & external stakeholders in carrying out investment activities
- Other tasks and duties as required by the senior management team

**Background, Skills & Attributes**
- Good Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Engineering
- (Optional) Master’s degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Engineering
- At least 6 years working experience with a top-tier investment bank, credit funds/institutions, corporate finance, M&A, Equity/Debt Investing fund and/or accounting firm, with exposure to investing in India, China and/or SEA (exposure to investing in technology companies is desired, but is not a pre-requisite)
- High level of interpersonal, writing, technical and financial modelling skills
- Able to work well within diverse teams and deal with multiple stakeholders
- Self-starter with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and to work independently
