As we continue to grow, we seek a skilled Accountant to oversee our finance function and ensure smooth financial operations.

**Job Overview**

The Accountant will manage the full set of accounts, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and produce accurate financial reports. You will play a key role in budgeting, financial forecasting, and ensuring timely financial submissions and audits, directly contributing to JWB's ability to fulfill its mission.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Full Set of Accounts**: Manage the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, cash receipts, and cash forecasting.
- **Financial Reporting**: Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, balance sheets, P&L statements, and management reports.
- **GST & Taxation**: Submit quarterly GST filings and manage tax computations in compliance with Singapore regulations.
- **Bank Reconciliation**: Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial schedules.
- **Cash Flow & Forecasting**: Manage cash flow projections and optimize liquidity to meet operational needs.
- **Coordinate and file for various government grants **(e.g. National Heritage Board) and financial management of various renovation projects.
- **Compliance & Audit**: Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, coordinate annual audits, and maintain strong internal controls.

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Educational Background: Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or CPA/CA qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience**:Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience **with management reporting and supervisory responsibilities.
- Tax & Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, tax regulations, and the Companies Act.
