**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Design, plan, implement and perform cell culture and biological in vitro assays, and support current research by providing expertise in molecular biology.
- Establishment of array-based workflows and Next Generation Sequencing including sample preparation and library preparation.
- Provide assistance with ongoing research projects within the deadline using established protocols and procedures, and records results of experiments.
- Perform analysis, documentation and write reports on research findings
- Support in the organization of the laboratory, e.g. maintain inventory of laboratory supplies, as well as administrative activities, such as the composition of operating manuals and operating instructions risk assessments, standard operation procedures etc.
- Collaboration in the preparation of scientific publications, presentations and posters.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Successfully completed PhD or Masters in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering or similar degree
- Work experience of 2-3 years
- Expertise in the field of molecular biology and molecular biology/nucleic acid-based methodologies is a must.
- Expertise in cell culture and general techniques in biochemistry is a plus.
- Knowledge and experience in Next Generation Sequencing Technologies.
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- Independent, structured and reliable work
