Singapore ASM Full time

As a Finance Analyst, you will work in a highly visible, flexible and collaborative team in a fast-paced semiconductor equipment manufacturing environment. You will support the Senior Manager Finance & Control in controlling and measuring the Global Logistic, Warehouse, Facility and Spares organization. You will also work closely with the Global Logistic team to help identify cost savings activities, and be responsible for consolidation and reporting activities of the cost savings program.

**What's the role**
- Business partnering and providing support to ASM’s global logistic, planning, spares and other global operations organization.
- Management reporting & analysis including budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Preparing monthly and other recurring reporting, including month-end spend reporting and analysis, variance analysis and forecasting.
- Preparing journal entries and review of cost centers spend.
- Measure and track monthly cost savings vs target; and work closely with key stakeholders to identify opportunities to bridge such gaps.
- Financial support for projects i.e., re-usable crates program, cost savings program on freight and warehouse expenses.
- Support and drive ad-hoc projects, including analyzing logistic related expenses such as freight etc., to identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Support in the implementation of new business improvement activities.
- Any other ad-hoc projetcs assigned e.g., financial planning and analysis projects as needed to support the operations.

**What we need from you**
- Bachelor in Accounting and CPA Certification.
- At least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing OR similar high technology manufacturing environment.
- Solution-oriented with a combination of business acumen, knowledge of financial best practices, and an analytical mindset.
- Ability to draw key findings from a large data set and provide data driven solutions that are organized and simple to understand.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and best practices of cost accounting.
- Knowledge in spend and cost savings management reporting.
- Familiar with financial forecasting and budgeting.
- Ability to interact and influence other functional teams across the organization.
- Ability to work well with diverse stakeholder groups across the globe to solve business problems; good communication skills are a must.
- Highly energetic, detailed and hands on.
- Experience working in a fast paced MNC.
