**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**Job Title**:Field Application Engineer **Department**:Field Support

**Reporting To**:Field Support Leader **Location**:Singapore

**Objective / Purpose of the Job**

To support new development and working alongside with team members.

**Key Activities / Accountabilities **

Support implementation of new features and developments

requirements

Perform internal and on-site testing for newly developed software and hardware

Provide assistance/support to Sales, Engineering and Manufacturing team

Required to travel to customer sites for set up, testing and troubleshooting of the equipment

Prepare ad-hoc reports on projects as needed.

To understand customer requirements and review customer SPECS before hand over to sales team

Perform Machine Buy-off and Standard Setup verification; carry out troubleshooting, calibration and

installation of equipment as assigned.

Perform Machine Qualifications in customer site, provide reports (GR&R, VR&R and Pre-qualification buyoff)

Provide training to customer and new staff.

Proactively cross train and work towards achieving department and company goals

Any other duties as assigned

**Working Conditions -**

High level of personal flexibility
- Working beyond office hours when the need arises

**Preferred Qualifications, Experience and Skills**

Qualification:
Diploma/degree in engineering course (Electrical, Electronics, Electro
- Mechanical or Mechanical)

Experience:
- At least 2-5 years relevant experience in Semiconductor industry
- Familiarity with project management and workflows

Technical Skills:
- Relevant technical knowledge in equipment troubleshooting.
- Knowledge in camera, lighting, inspection machine
- Basic Computer troubleshooting.
- Basic Electronics troubleshooting.

Competencies:
- Communication capability with all levels
- Possess a creative mindset to identify and problem solving skills
- Planning and organising
- Drive for results
- Analytical skills

Language Capability: - Proficiency in spoken and written English require
