Piping Coordinator

Responsibility:
*Study the project requirements, specification to familiarize with the project scope and requirements
*Support lead Engineer on the work procedure submission
*Manage material delivery and issuance to the fabrication and/or installation team/subcontractors
*Coordinate with various departments and teams for additional materials required in case of clashes, changes, modification or to expedite works
*Highlights piping engineering issues to client team and liaise with client engineering team for resolution
*Monitor client’s site Instructions (SI) and follow up accordingly
*Assist section manager in improving production control and various standard operating procedures, including but not limited to, quality, safety, and the training and development of employees

Job Requirements
*Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
*Minimum 3 years of experience in marine/shipyard operations involving site piping fabrication and supervision works
*Good Planning, organization, control, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
