Overview:
PM Group Singapore is currently looking to hire Civil & Structural Engineer for our expansion and increased business activities. The incumbents will be involved in handling projects within the Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences space.

**Responsibilities**:
**Your day-to-day role would involve the following activities**:

- Prepare technical documents, including checking as appropriate, in accordance with agreed schedules and ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements
- Provide site support for construction, installation, commissioning, modification and qualification
- Provide detailed design using computer software such as STAAD.Pro, RAM Connection, Tedds Calculation.
- Provide detailed calculation sheet for pipe rack, cable rack, pipe support, etc
- Produce civil and structural deliverables including:

- Site grading drawings
- Site plan showing roads/car parks/infrastructure
- Proposed foundations description/basis/drawings
- Foundation/Drainage/Demolition/Underground Utilities drawings
- Building structure description/basis/drawings
- To provide technical support to site based engineers during construction phase of a project
- Attend project design team meetings and project review meeting
- Interact and communicate with own department, other departments, project team members, clients and other external parties to ensure co-ordination of activities
- Carry out site visits / site survey
- Review deliverables prepared by vendors and contractors
- Input to “Departmental Improvements” as appropriate

Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years of Civil & Structural Design experience
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
- Familiar with Concrete and Steel Works Design in accordance with Eurocodes and code of practices
- Well Versed in Staad.Pro and/or ROBOT
- Experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medical devices, Food / Nutritional industries
- Strong background from Design consultancy or Engineering company
- 5-day work week; 8.30am to 5.30pm
