Job Description

You are the Group Merger & Acquisitions (M&A) expert with strong post-deal integration skills at Singapore Post, a company that is transforming from a national postal provider into a regional ecommerce logistics player.

The primary responsibility for this role is to provide leadership for managing the entire M&A process from inception to integration. This role will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team and is ideally placed to influence the strategic direction of the business.

The incumbent will be expected to:

- Drive financial modelling and development of detailed business cases.
- Lead entire deal process - from initiating contact and deal discussions to negotiations and deal execution.
- Lead preparation of support documentation, reports and presentations for Board and Top Management approval.
- Oversee external advisors to obtain specific specialist inputs for completing due diligence and obtaining accurate valuations.
- Design the overall post-deal integration program in SingPost and work with respective teams for each investee company on implementation to achieve.
- Sound functional integration and governance of investee companies.
- Business synergies and value creation plans.
- Lead post-deal integration initiatives which comprises restructuring of companies, when required, appropriate resourcing of positions, enhancing and enforcing policies and procedures and sharing of corporate and functional best practices.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in related field from a reputable university.
- At least 15 years’ experience in corporate finance or strategy background;
or an experienced business development professional from a major

corporate organization.
- Experience in post-deal integration and management of investee

companies.
- Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong emotional intelligence (EQ), able to achieve project deliverables in

complex stakeholder situations.
- Strong analytical approach with a head for numbers.
- Experience in business screening, research, valuation and financial

analysis.
- Accurate, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
