Our client is one of the world’s largest makers of batteries, flashlights and rechargeable systems.

**Responsibilities**:

- To maintain/upgrade the plant mechanical equipment alongside with team of production colleagues and technicians
- Supports, lead troubleshooting and rectification of plant equipment as assigned
- Carry out routine checks and testing of plant equipment based on job requests as per good maintenance practice
- Ensure safety and housekeeping are always observed
- Support production departments on Continuous Improvement, Preventive Maintenance to ensure high levels of line efficiency and line performance
**Requirements**:

- NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Strong technical knowledge and hands on skills in a manufacturing environment for mechanical related equipment
- Able to perform metal fabrication and able to use mechanical tools like welding machine, drill press, etc.
- Able to read and understand mechanical drawings and able to understand drawing specifications.
- Strong knowledge in electro-pneumatic system and good troubleshooting skills.
- Able to conduct training to technicians and operators.
- Willing on work on 12 hours rotating shift (attractive shift allowances) and carry out overtime as and when assigned
