**Roles & Responsibilities:
- To conduct lessons in a way that engage children and encourages purposeful play.
- To ensure children's safety and hygiene of the children.
- Prepare and implement programs and age-appropriate teaching materials.
- To establish a positive and trusting relationship with parents through regular communications.
- To be able to develop and maintain child portfolio through the various tools available in the centre and keep accurate records of the children’s progress.
- Daily care for the children, cultivate values that will prepare them to be life-long learners.
- To work effectively as a team player to establish and maintain a collaborative work environment.
- Communicate with parents about the children’s progress.
- Involved in twice yearly Parent-Teacher Communication.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education recognized by ECDA (L2)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a childcare setting
- Someone who has good classroom management skills
- Have a caring, passionate disposition towards children and has a strong passion to nurture young children.
- Possess a spirit of teamwork, has good initiative and a positive attitude
- Able to work independently when needed
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- IT savvy
