Venture Growth Architect

**Overview**:
At Rainmaking we do not believe in one-size-fits all view and we know that the key to success is to test, fail and test again. So we are looking for someone who is willing to have a hands-on approach in taking data, running a campaign, speaking to people, getting feedback and turning it all into a structured plan for growth.

You will likely have experience working in multiple of the following types of roles: marketing, growth, sales, corporate innovation consultancy, a venture capital firm, startup incubator or accelerator, startup founder, corporate business line owner. Your day to day role will be focused on top of the funnel growth, setting a growth strategy and delivering on it.

**About You**:

- You will identify trends or patterns within start-up ecosystems and create ongoing hypotheses to validate / invalidate assumptions on industry-specific problems; key technology developments and business model shifts.
- You will likely have experience gained within the areas of startup market expansion and new market entry for startups, ideally in the APAC region in roles such as: growth marketing, business development, startup founder, corporate business line (unit) owner, project management or venture development role.
- You’ll have been directly involved with market launching as part of an early startup team into a new geography, finding product-market-fit across regions. This means having a technical knowledge and understanding of lean startup methodology and business model innovation
- You're someone who can dive deep into research and business models then look up and out to seek practical solutions, using the insights you gain to add tangible value
- You're an analytical individual who backs decisions through data and can unpick business models rapidly then make informed recommendations
- You’ll have a strong interest in entrepreneurship, emerging technologies and the corporate innovation landscape
- You are excited about speaking with new people, listening and trying to understand their problems to finding real impactful solutions, rather than selling off-the-shelf remedies
- You ideally have experience working with both large corporates and startups, and have an understanding of ‘translating’ between the two
- You value kindness, entrepreneurship and impact, just like we do
