The position

Main Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis:

- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes for the APAC region.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct P&L management report analysis and provide actionable recommendations.

SAP System Expertise:

- Utilize experience working on SAP ECC system, preferably in SAP HANA, to manage and optimize financial processes and reporting.
- Ensure accurate and timely data extraction, analysis, and reporting from SAP systems.

Accounting & Cost Management:

- Manage and control costs effectively to support business objectives and financial targets.

Project Controlling:

- Provide general knowledge and understanding of project controlling to support project financial management and analysis.
- Monitor project financial performance, identify variances, and collaborate with project teams to optimize financial outcomes.

Risk Management & Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with the IFRS and applicable tax laws and regulations of Singapore and Malaysia.
- Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities within the APAC region.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.

Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management:

- Partner with regional and local business leaders to understand their financial needs and provide proactive financial support and insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business initiatives and achieve financial targets.

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support as required.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance, with a focus on financial planning & analysis, business partnering, and stakeholder management.
- Strong experience working on SAP ECC system, preferably in SAP HANA.
- Proficiency in budgeting & forecasting, P&L management report analysis, and project controlling.
- Solid knowledge of accounting and closing guidelines, cost management, and financial regulations in Singapore and Malaysia.
- Familiarity with the IFRS and applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel within the APAC region as required.
