**Accountability Statement/Summary**
The position of Key Account Specialist is responsible for assisting in implementing marketing activities, including market research and promotional campaigns, for the aesthetics portfolio. The incumbent is also expected to grow accounts under their care through close collaboration and support from the Manager and Marketing Team.
**Responsibilities include but not limited to;**
- Promote and sell the assigned range of aesthetics products to specific healthcare professionals.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets of allocated territory/product by developing new business with existing and potential clients.
- Has excellent up-to-date knowledge of the disease(s), patients & care-givers needed, brand(s) features & benefits
- Actively monitor market trends through personal contact with customers and attend industry association meetings and seminars and has excellent knowledge of key competitors features and brand messages. Provide feedback to relevant managers on field intelligence;
- Identify and target key physicians and key allied healthcare professionals, winning concessions and maintaining relationships;
- In consultation with your manager, plan field activity based on customer segmentation and targeting principles to maximise results;
- Analyse territory and customer data, doctor call reports and track territory spend on a regular basis
- Develops work around solutions within guidelines to overcome the challenges
- Continually seeks to modify standard approaches for more effective/improved outcomes
- Articulates clearly the counter-messages per competitor
- Perform other related duties as assigned by your manager from time-to-time.
**Required requisites**
- **Experience and Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Business desirable
- Experience in the aesthetics industry experience is required. Those with existing good relationships with Aesthetics/Dermatology Key Opinion Leaders in restructured or private hospitals would have an added advantage.
- Minimally 5 years of experience as a Medical Representative
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Possess a car and driving license
- IT - savvy and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
