Singapore MODEC OFFSHORE PRODUCTION SYSTEMS (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. Full time

Perform maintenance activities, repair inspection of electrical equipment according to the Planned Maintenance System, performing and working together with the Electrical Supervisor and other technicians.
- Carry out maintenance, repair inspection activities on electrical equipment in accordance with the Planned Maintenance System, executing and working closely with the Electrical Supervisor and another technician.
- Develop day by day knowledge of working with Electricity Standard and national and international standards (IEC and IEEE) applicable to Electrical discipline.
- Contribute with the perfect functioning of the instrument, reporting deficiencies and malfunctioning, discussing and analyzing technical and spares issues with the Electrical Supervisor as well as proposing solutions for the weak points using the technical knowledge and experience.
- Ensure the safe and efficient functioning of emergency plant, equipment and machinery, filling up the logbook on daily basis as directed by RPE.
- Ensure compliance with MODEC Permit to Work system, isolation standard being aware about latest revision of PTW and act as Permit user of PTW for the task performed by Electrical team.
- Ensure that high standard of housekeeping is present in the E House and the worksite which are under Electrical Supervisor responsibility.
- Ensure that any defect will be reported, and action plan commenced in order to fix the deficiency, through the regular rounds on the facility checking all the electrical equipment’s and components by following up order from Electrical Supervisor.
- Assure that proper information is filled up into the SAP for the tasks performed. Follow up the plan execution with Electrical Supervisor.
- Assist to Electrical Supervisor to review the Maintenance plan providing inputs for the plan base of technical knowledge and experience.
- Contribute with preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on daily basis by demonstrating initiative in identifying improvement opportunities for performance improvement of equipment and systems.
- Assure that any inspection activity and electrical maintenance is performed with PTW under the supervision and guidance of Electrical Supervisor and perform the activities according to voltage level that is authorized to work, as described in letter of authorization to work with electricity.
- Contribute to solve emergency situations, according to Emergency response plan.
- Contribute with performing any additional task compatible with the professional training requested by Electrical Supervisor or Maintenance Superintendent.
- Develop a close working relationship with all Departments.
- Ensure that the tools used are in good condition and they are certified, inform Supervisor when any deviation noticed.
- Demonstrate ownership of own training requirements and proactively arrange training to be done/renewed in time as per MODEC Integrated Management System.- Minimum of 10 years’ experience operating with Oil and Gas industry;
- Must have availability to go to Singapore to visit the shipyard;
- Fluent English speakers are mandatory;
- Fluent Portuguese speakers are mandatory;
- Experience with FPSO is mandatory;
- Have Electrical Technician certificate
- Dominate Brazilian legislation is required;
- Required availability to move to Brazil and Senegal and work offshore for the FPSO operation;
- Power Management System (PMS) experience;
- Experience to operate and maintenance in generation, cogeneration and substation of electric energy in Grid de 500 Kv - 138 kv - 25 kv 13,8Kv 11Kv 6,6 Kv;
