You will participate in an exciting role to help transform agriculture operations and processes in South-East Asian’s first high tech glass greenhouse to maximize productivity and obtain optimal efficiency in vegetable production.

You will be responsible in all aspects of the product development process from design, implementation, execution, and testing to deliver the highest quality product.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Work with a project team consisting of M&E System Engineer, Software Developer and Procurement Analyst, in all projects (current and future)
- Work with the Automation Design Project Manager to co-design projects and resolve all design flaws and faults by exploring and proposing alternative solutions
- Lead a team of foreign workers and assist in overseeing site engineering activities, including but not limited to procurement and construction; installation; commissioning; troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Responsible for integration, installation and commissioning of hydraulic lift; packing machine; conveyor system; and sensors to enable automation of the farm
- Supervise closely and take charge of progress of project to expedite completion and commissioning of the greenhouse to commence full production.
- Create and administer appropriate testing protocols to ensure all testing and commissioning on site is completed as per schedule.
- Prepare Standard Operating Procedures and Manuals for use of the machineries inside the Greenhouse
- Coordinate closely and liaise with local/overseas vendors
- Render support to and work closely with internal stakeholders to delegate phases; repair works and different sections of the construction site to appropriate personnel
- Develop and drive maintenance repair and spare part strategies for the farm, including sourcing, purchasing, and ordering required items.
- Responsible to ensure the inventory of automation and control areas’ spares/consumables meet critical maintenance requirements.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Min Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in designing automated machineries.
- Be familiar with Autodesk AutoCad and Solidworks
- Preferably experience in communicating with foreign workers so that work can be completed efficiently
- Possess a strong drive; passion; leadership and is committed and responsible

**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION**:

- 5 days work week: 8.30am - 5.30pm
- Lunch will be provided
- Transport to and from Kranji train station

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $4,500.00 - $5,500.00 per month
