**JOB SPECIFICATION**

**Cloud Operation Engineer (Azure)**

Reporting to the Cloud Operations Manager, this role will be part of the PSA Group IT team providing support for all activities related to the Cloud environment (Microsoft Azure & Oracle Cloud). As an experienced Cloud Operation Engineer, you must be able to work independently, resourceful and will not hesitate to take the initiative to source for appropriate solution for the business. You will need to be meticulous and pays attention to the slightest details in BAU tasks and project implementations. Strong communication skills is needed as you will collaborate with users from APAC, EMEA and AMER regions.

**Responsibilities**
- Cloud architectural design, configuration, deployment, maintenance and monitoring setup.
- Solution shall adopt proper cloud security standard.
- Develop and implement Cloud governance across IaaS, PaaS and SaaS platforms, including but not limited to infrastructure design, RBAC, security policies, SOP and best practices.
- Establish performance and utilization metrics and pro-actively monitor the utilization of the resources.
- Drive automation of operational activities, health checks, performance monitoring.
- Gather requirements from project stakeholders and prepare Business Require Document (BRD) specifications.
- Prepare Detailed Design Document (DDD) for deployment with reference to requirements stated in BRD.
- Take ownership of all issues and outages. Track and monitor issues progress until their completion and provide timely issue escalation to relevant audiences.
- Perform monthly syslog review to identify security events.

**Requirements**:

- A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- 4+ years of experience designing and supporting Azure environments; including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud environments will be an added advantage.
- Proficient with in-depth knowledge in administration of Microsoft Windows and Linux (Red hat, Oracle Linux).
- Thorough understanding of network operations and cloud security.
- Experience with latest tools and technologies like Docker, Kubernetes and Ansible.
- Hands on experience using the Azure administration available tools.
- Hands on experience with Azure functions and logic Apps.
- Effective communication skills with all levels of users, both verbally and in writing.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $7,000.00 - $9,000.00 per month
