**Position Summary**

Transcribe audio to help build state of the art AI-powered speech recognition models

As an English/Mandarin Transcriber your task will be to produce highly accurate transcriptions of conversational speech combined with annotation mark-up. We will provide you with Guidelines for how to transcribe and annotate the audio. The data will be used to develop better AI-powered speech recognition for Singaporean English and Mandarin.

This is a full-time, permanent position, located at our Singapore office.

**Responsibilities**

Ability to accurately transcribe audios containing both Singaporean English and Malay in accordance with the project’s set guidelines.

**Requirements**:

- Bilingual knowledge of Singaporean English and Mandarin
- Prior experience with transcription (medical, legal transcription, for example)
- Comfortable/familiar with Malay is a plus
- Ability to type a minimum of 65 WPM
- A passion for language, excellent grammar & punctuation skills
- High attention to detail and the self-motivation to consistently produce high quality work
- A great approach to time management working within a deadline-driven environment
- Positive attitude with the willingness to work on new projects and tasks
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
- Editorial or proofreading skills (desirable)
- CAT 2 Security Clearance - This process will be initiated upon successful completion of the interview process
