**Our Client**
Our client is the integrated agribusiness and food company. It is one of Asia’s largest privately owned agribusinesses with production facilities across eight countries in Asia. Its parent company is publicly listed on one of the stock exchanges in SEA. They are looking to hire a dynamic HRBP to be the primary strategic advisor to the Business CEO.
**The Role**
Solid reporting to the Business CEO and dotted line to the Group CHRO, you shall play a pivotal liaison role between the agribusiness unit, the regional HR CoE and country HR team to develop, tailor and implement HR strategies to increase organizational effectiveness and drive growth.
Having strong business acumen, you will be able to proactively anticipate business priorities and shape people's agenda to support the business. You will be in charge of HR responsibilities including but not limited to performance reviews, workforce planning, employee relations, compensation and benefits: benchmarking and talent matters: succession planning and recruitment.
- Key Responsibilities: _
- Understand organizational and individual challenges, help the senior leaders to define the problem and identify the root cause of the people related issues.
- Contribute to business strategy by helping leaders identify, align, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, structures, and processes in an effective and efficient manner that support achievement of business goals.
- Facilitate and promote the business leadership team alignment and team effectiveness, and secure buy-in from stakeholders to deliver its vision, mission, strategy, and plans.
- Communicate HR and business strategies using clear language that engages others in the view of the future.
- Manage resistance, objections, and conflicts during conversations in a firm, respectful and empathetic manner.
- Create high impact, consistent and accurate messaging using appropriate tools to drive engagement, aligned with the organization-wide communications strategy.
- Collaborate with business leaders and Talent & Development CoE to focus on organization's learning and development strategies and meet business requirements.
- Work closely and advise business leaders on ways to address manpower productivity and cost containment.
- Liaise and guide business leaders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior roles in line with business strategy and objectives and to cascade KPIs and communicate performance rating.
- Review HR processes in the region impacting workplace legislation to ensure controls are in place to prevent regulatory breaches and ensure consistency and alignment with business and people strategies within the business group. Partner with other HRBPs and cross functional teams such as Total Rewards, Talent Development & Engagement, Organizational Development and Talent Attraction in developing and delivering best practices to the business division.
**Your Profile**
- Degree in Human Resources or a relevant discipline.
- A minimum 8-10 years of work experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Significant experience of senior broad-based HR partnering, working in international commercial and matrix organizations is essential.
- Experience in business partnering within APAC region is a pre-requisite.
- Strong business acumen and people management skills.
- Proficiency in the Chinese language is important to communicate effectively with the Chinese counterparts on the HR strategies and policies.
- Prior experience within manufacturing and/or FMCG industries is a plus.
- Ability to travel and willingness to work across all aspects of HR business partnering, and comfortable to work self-sufficiently.
- Commercial focus with demonstrated ability to identify and deliver commercial outcomes.
- Excellence in diplomacy, discretion and ability to engage with individuals.
- Effective communicator and influencer who is able to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
