Plan and support cluster and firm wide client and internal events, initiatives, projects.
- Plan and assist in the management of budgets, consolidate ARs, bills and statements of accounts.
- Plan and manage cluster meetings of partners, lawyers and staff.
- Manage and revise internal workflow processes.
- Support in the hiring, assessment, promotion and exit of lawyers and staff.
- Collect and analyse data and maintain information relating to work capacity and work allocation.
- Allocate resources to all incoming work based on agreed parameters.
- Engage in regular feedback with lawyers and staff proactively to understand and optimise resourcing requirements.
- Co-ordinate the training and continual development of new and existing lawyers and staff; and monitor and record achievement of competencies.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Fluency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and EQ skills; ability to confidently interact with senior lawyers, external parties and clients.
- Highly professional and polished demeanour and presence.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy; highly organised and able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a high performance environment.
- Prior experience as office manager, executive assistant / chief of staff to C-Suite or senior executives.
- Familiarity with HR processes, employment laws / regulations, basic accounts.
- Prior experience working in a professional services firm.
