**Diwei Chinese Restaurant **is looking for an excellent Head Chef to join and lead our Chinese Teochew Restaurant.

**Responsibility**:

- Producing self made quality and premium Chinese food and desserts
- To run, supervise and manage daily kitchen operations effectively.
- Creation of classic and innovative menu based on specific concepts.
- Responsible for cost and quality control.
- Possess ability to schedule lean manpower management
- Work closely and efficiently with other departments to achieve company’s goals.

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of various Chinese cuisines with culinary techniques and modern trends
- Ability to produce seasonal menu
- Culinary education from recognised institutions preferred.
- 3 years experience in related field.
- Knowledge and good understanding of hygiene, health and safety practices and regulations (HACCP, H&S regulations)
- Good experience in big scale on-site and off-site banquet catering.
- Ability to plan and execute strategies to achieve company’s objectives.
- Have initiative, is hard working and able to lead the kitchens by him/herself.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $4,500.00 - $6,000.00 per month
