Salling Search is proud to be partnered with a global shipping conglomerate in search for skilled Technical Superintendent to oversee the technical operations of their offshore vessels.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide technical support and guidance to vessels, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations
- Monitor and manage vessel maintenance, repairs, and dry dockings, ensuring cost-effective and timely completion of tasks
- Review and approve technical specifications, procedures, and documentation related to vessel operations
- Collaborate with vessel crews, port engineers, and suppliers to resolve technical issues and ensure timely delivery of spare parts and equipment
- Conduct vessel inspections and audits, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
- Ensure that vessels operate in a safe and environmentally responsible manner, complying with international regulations and industry best practices
- Manage budgets and provide regular reports on vessel performance, maintenance costs, and project progress to senior management
- Participate in emergency response and crisis management activities, as needed

Qualifications:

- COC1 certificate and a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Chief Engineer onboard offshore vessels or a naval architectural background with sound knowledge on offshore vessels
- Strong technical knowledge of vessel machinery, systems, and equipment
- Experience in vessel maintenance and repair planning, including dry dockings
- Familiarity with international regulations and industry standards related to vessel operations, safety, and environmental protection
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
