XCL World Academy has an immediate vacancy for a **Photographer and Videographer **position who will be joining the dynamic Marketing Department.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Support the Marketing Departments to communicate the school’s key messages by capturing students and school activities to create the right format of collaterals for various usages, that are aligned with the schools’ brand identity and guidelines.
- Capture photos, videos and edit them for some of the schools’ events and activities, newsletter messages, and create marketing collateral using the photos and videos taken.
- Maintain safety standards for all crew members during production, including providing safety equipment and monitoring conditions on set.
- Shoot footage that captures events or situations from multiple angles using different camera positions and perspectives.
- Operate audio equipment such as microphones, sound mixers, and digital recorders to capture sound during filming.
- Shoot still photos during filming to capture candid moments or create images for promotional materials, if applicable.
- Supervise a crew of photographers and videographers during shoots, if applicable.
- Edit and upload videos or photos to social media sites such as YouTube or Facebook.
- Plan and book shoots with internal and external vendors to capture special events or moments in time.
- Editing of footage and creating polished videos with music, titles, credits, and subtitles.
- Support Events organisation as required.
- Performs other job-related, and administrative duties as assigned by the line manager.

**Person Specifications**
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Video Production, Journalism, or other relevant qualifications to the role.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Photography and Videography.
- Excellent English Language skills (spoken and written).
- Experience developing innovative and imaginative content and concepts.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash and Dreamweaver and comfortable working within both a Mac & Windows environment.
- Experience of working with WordPress Content Management System is a plus.
- Experience of working with design and video editing software.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Passion for capturing moments with a highly creative, innovative personality.
- Good time management skills, and highly detail oriented.
- Strong ability to explain and discuss creative ideas and concepts.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in studio lighting, digital photography, digital imaging, digital video. and digital cinematography.
- Proficient with content requirements for various social media and format of images/videos required.
