Risk Consulting Country Manager Singapore

We are looking for a Country Manager in Singapore to manage the risk consulting activity (resources, budget / P&L, client servicing, UW & claims partnership) for the country and ensure adequate servicing delivery for underwriting and external clients. This role will be a dual hat in addition to your other responsibilities. You will report to the Risk Consulting Regional Manager, Asia Pacific.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
- **Define the Risk Consulting objectives and strategy in his/her country **in line with the strategic orientations & operational priorities defined by the Consulting Head of APAC, the AXA XL Country Manager, and the local Underwriting strategy (across all LoBs).
- **Manage the whole population of risk engineers located in his/her geographical perimeter **relying on the local Risk Consulting Managers across all LoBs (Risk Consultants et Accounts Consultants) and collaborating with the Transversal Regional Managers (for Property, Casualty, Environment, Motor) and the Transversal Global Managers (for the other Business Lines - Marine, Specie, Construction, Energy).
- **Manage the local relationship with AXA XL Insurance **(Underwriting, Claims, CDL), with the support of the local team managers.
- **Is accountable for the client lifecycle management **for his/her geographical perimeter / market and the local risk consulting **business development activity **in close cooperation with the local CDL organization and underwriting (represents AXA XL on the local risk consulting market / attend to market events).
- **Steer and is accountable for the Risk Consulting budget / P&L **for his/her geographical perimeter (resources, hours dedicated to support underwriting & claims, client fees, resource costs, operational costs / general expenses, subcontracting costs), relying on Finance and the Product & Process team for regular monitoring.
- **Steer and is accountable for the Risk Consulting Key Performance Indicators **for his/her geographical perimeter (profitability, productivity, efficiency, quality of service, underwriting & client satisfaction, employee engagement), relying on the Product & Process team for right monitoring.
- **Deploy the risk engineering processes and technical standards **in his/her geographical perimeter, relying on the CRCOS, the Technical Centre, the Product & Process team for the non-technical engineering activities; is accountable for adequate consistency of technical (and non-technical) risk engineering processes across all teams and Business Lines.
- Contributes to the deliveries of: the operational efficiency; Technical standard and Quality; the deployment of the AXA XL risk consulting integration project and the security & compliance of the risk consulting activities.
- Additionally, you may occasionally conduct Surveys at client premises to establish location risk quality ratings, loss estimates and develop risk improvement recommendations according to existing standards. You could also be responsible to manage a small number of accounts, where client relationship is essential.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

- Experience in Risk Consulting is mandatory, preferably assessing property risk and with detailed knowledge of fire protection standards and NFPA codes.
- Advanced/Fluent English level is required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to schedule work efficiently within the available time frame.
- Experience in people management is highly desirable.
- Keen written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to implement process optimization.
- Strong customer relationship building.
- Understanding of underwriting processes and data needs.
