The team also designs interfaces to various third party equipment such as platform screen doors, emergency stop plungers, signal lights and others. You will also work closely with the Testing and Commissioning team, Procurement team and others in support of the overall One Team One Thales objectives. Students will learn a variety of concepts about railway signaling design and operation, and will benefit from exposure to a young and growing engineering team in Singapore.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the production of book of wiring, scheme plans, control tables, I/O bitmaps, block designs, etc.
- Review and propose hardware components and maintain Bill of Materials
- Produce design documentation including hardware system requirements
- Ensure the hardware design and functional documents produced are issued and controlled in accordance with company processes
