**Role description:
Working as a consultant Quality Assurance Manager to ensure that Health & Safety QA requirements are adhered to during construction projects.

This role includes an emphasis on MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumping) construction elements for projects such as Data Centres, High-Tech Manufacturing, Distribution Centres etc.

**Role accountabilities include**:

- Act as a Quality Assurance consultant for a construction projects
- Provide technical advice and guidance across Pre-Construction, Construction, Testing & Commissioning, and Close Out phases
- Inform the client of any possible or potential violations of local Health and Safety codes
- Provide comments on Quality Control Plans
- Create/Manage QA systems which include;
- Document Libraries
- Drawings
- Submittals
- Specifications
- Requests for Information (RFI)
- Test Reports
- Checking that any MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumping) clashes have been identified and resolved by the design teams
- Monitoring the Main Contractor’s construction and log activities
- Attending Owner, Architect, and Contractor (OAC) weekly meetings
- Verifying that MEP coordination and inspections have taken place
- Checking that successful Pre-Commissioning inspections have taken place
- Providing the client with progress reports, including during Testing, Commissioning, and Close Out

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Health & Safety Management or similar construction related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in health and safety management related to construction projects
- Demonstrated knowledge of Health & Safety standards and regulations in Singapore
- Demonstrated experience in the use of Quality and Health & Safety Management Systems e.g. ISO 45001; OHSAS 18001; ISO9000/9001
- Proven expertise in hazard risk assessment, safe method working statements, and post-incident root cause analysis
- Experience in the evaluation of Construction Health and Safety Management Plans, and associated auditing
- Experience of working in a similar role for construction projects with an emphasis on MEP is preferred
