Singapore LUKOIL ASIA PACIFIC PTE LTD Full time

**The Trade Finance Manager’s **primary responsibility is to supervise trade finance activities of Singapore based subsidiary of a large Trading Company, including management of bank relationships, contributing to management of global working capital needs and supervising local structured finance activities.

**Trade Finance Management**:

- Negotiate attractive financing conditions and find local solutions to decrease overall Group's cost of financing, minimize risk and optimize working capital;
- Be in regular cooperation with Head Office trade finance team on various local and global projects;
- Review tenders and business projects in order to identify finance related requirements and meet the requirements in optimal manner;
- Review facility and security documentation for existing and new financing facilities;
- Oversee discounting, LC issuance, confirmation and other ongoing financing activities;
- Manage bank accounts and KYC matters.

**Relationships with banks**:

- Identify and onboard new TF banks in Asia, with a specific focus on China;
- Conduct regular trips to China to establish direct relationship with mainland China banks;
- Develop relationship with existing banks of the Group on regional level;
- Supervise preparing information packages, letters and RFI to the banks;
- Provide frequent overview and update of the TF banking environment in Asia to Group’s management, comment on important evolution and deals made in the region.

**Structured Finance Management**:

- Coordinate Structured Finance projects in Asia with headquarters;
- Supervise project follow up, amortization schedule, cover ratio and other items.

**Management**:

- Coordinate and guide activities of 2-3 employees;
- Coordinate communication with Head Office and contribute to aligning local finance function to global finance strategy.

**Requirements**:

- At least 10 years’ experience in trade finance in a commodity trading company;
- Bachelor/Master Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics;
- Fluent in English and Mandarin;
- Proven record in trade finance transactions, establishing relationship and facilities with banks;
- Excellent knowledge of trade finance instruments, including Letters of Credit and banking documentation;
- Strong management and communication skills;
- Broad network of counterparties and banks across Asia
