As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking an Operations Assistant to play a pivotal role in supporting various operational tasks, including packing and assisting the kitchen team in delivering lunchboxes to young children.

**Job Overview**:
The Operations Assistant at The School Grocer will be a hands-on team member responsible for contributing to the efficient delivery of meals to preschools. This dynamic role involves packing lunchboxes, assisting the kitchen team, and collaborating with the operations team to ensure the seamless execution of our catering services.

**Key Responsibilities:
Packing and Preparation:

- Assist in packing nutritious lunchboxes for delivery to preschools, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to prepare and assemble meals in accordance with specified requirements.

Delivery Assistance:

- Support the Operations Manager in coordinating and optimizing delivery schedules to preschools.
- Assist the drivers in loading and unloading meal deliveries, ensuring the safe and timely distribution of lunchboxes.

Quality Control:

- Work closely with the kitchen team to implement and maintain stringent quality control measures in the preparation and packing of meals.
- Participate in monitoring and addressing any quality concerns promptly.

Team Collaboration:

- Collaborate with the kitchen and operations teams to maintain a culture of accountability and teamwork.
- Provide hands-on support during peak operational periods to ensure smooth workflows.

Logistics Support:

- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to plan and monitor delivery routes for maximum efficiency.
- Provide support in tracking and managing inventory levels to facilitate efficient packing and delivery processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Previous experience in operations, logistics, or a similar role is beneficial.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control processes.
