Platform Server Engineer

The successful incumbent will play an integral role in maintaining and administering of IT systems crucial to the smooth operations and productivity of the Company.

**Responsibilities**:
The incumbent will be responsible for:
1) Perform system administration and maintenance in a heterogeneous environment (production, test) comprising of RHEL servers and Wintel-based servers services - Domain Controller, DNS and DHCP

2) Perform system upgrade and enhancement on IT infrastructure components

3) Perform system administration and maintenance vm level cluster, vmware or hyper-v virtualization

4) Operating Cloud hosting of RHEL and Window server including administration, implementation, fine tune, troubleshooting and upgrade.

5) Implement operating system and product-specific security hardening & patches

6) Maintain system health check and monitoring system log

7) Perform support file system and all storage management on premise and Cloud

8) Engage in the maintenance and support activities, which include perform troubleshooting, incident response, and patching in a timely manner

9) Introduce industry best practices, continuous improvements, reporting, evaluating, and improving the operation metrics

10) Ensure implementation of system backups to ensure data recoverability and business continuity

**Job Requirements**

To thrive and be successful in this role, you must have / be:

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience operating in a similar role in Cloud Active Directory, Domain controller
- Experience in Linux clustering & VM level cluster
- Experience in OS installation, configuration and fine tuning
- Experience Linux security, CIS benchmark OS hardening
- Experience in NFS/Automount administration and Filesystem administration
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Good communications and interpersonal relations skills to interact effectively at all levels
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize work and manage several tasks concurrently
- Fast learner and good adaptability for the new requirement
- Experience in Log monitoring/maintenance

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $5,000.00 - $7,000.00 per month
