**Roles & Responsibilities**

The Butcher/Meat cutter position provides various butchering duties such as, but not limited to, weighing, wrapping, cutting and trimming meat from larger wholesale portions in the retail/ factory environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and perform meat-cutting functions including trimming, deboning, portioning, slicing and processing according to specifications
- Ensure adequate stock to meet demand requirements and enforce strict delivery schedules
- Receive, inspect and store meat upon receipt
- Ensure that meat handling and storage procedures comply with hygiene and safety standards
- Maintain an organised and sanitary work environment
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as required by management from time to time

**Requirements**:

- Basic literacy in English language
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in food related industry
- Able to work in cold room environment
- WSQ certification in basic food hygiene
