**Your Team Responsibilities**
We are looking for a Carbon Markets Policy Specialist to join our Carbon Markets Policy & Guidance team. The team tracks organisations and governments seeking to shape private sector responses to climate change and the development of the carbon credit market on the path to net zero. This vacancy is for a mid
- to senior-level researcher to join our team and take the lead on carbon market policy research in the Asia-Pacific region.
**Your Key Responsibilities**
- Analysis of national and subnational climate and carbon market policy in a range of countries, including conducting interviews and preparing country profiles.
- Tracking developments in international policy and standards relating to climate change, net zero and the voluntary carbon market.
- Qualitative and quantitative research across the policy areas covered by the team. Thought leadership on carbon markets and climate policy, with a focus on Asia-Pacific.
- Communicating insights internally and externally, delivered to clients through client meetings and conferences, plus monthly reporting, an online platform, webinars and other research projects.
**Your skills and experience that will help you excel**
- Undergraduate and/or post-graduate degree in Environmental Studies, Climate Change, Geography, or a related field. Post-graduate degree preferred.
