**Job Purpose:
- To assist the Customer Sevice Manager to manage and co-ordinate the activities of the branch to ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations in the following section, i.e. Remittance, Current Account, Savings account, Fixed Deposit, Cheque Clearing, Documents checking.**Key Responsibilities:
Strategy and Planning
- Assist CSM/ASM to manage the branches and provide guidance to branch operations and service network

Business Performance and Management
- Perform daily banking transactions at the branch, including teller duties
- Attend to all customer enquiries and needs promptly to deliver an excellent customer banking experience
- Authorize and approve banking transactions performed by tellers
- Verify validations on deposit slips, cheque & advices performed by tellers
- Make sure all transactions performed according to the guidelines & transactions are properly authorized & checked
- Check & authorize new account opening and ensure documentation is in order
- Manage the cash operations of the branch
- Monitor counter operations and resolve problems where necessary
- Attend to customers personally where necessary and provide feedback on customers’ needs and complaints.
- Process Fixed Deposit renewals / withdrawals
- Process Mailbox transactions and liaise with other departments
- Cheque balancing daily
- Prepare monthly reports as assigned by immediate superior
- Review all daily/monthly reports and check if there is any irregular transaction
- Review and adhere to policies and procedures of the department
- Ensuring mínimal / no audit points for the department
- Ensuring KPIs are met
- To undertake any other duties which may be assigned by the Head of Department from time to time

People Management
- Ensuring neat and tidy appearance of the department and staff
- Work closely with other departments regarding administrative matters and customer transaction matters in branch

Regulatory Compliance
- Comply with internal policies and procedures (P&P) as well as relevant laws and regulations

**Requirements:
- Diploma
- At least 1 year of teller and/or branch banking experience
- Customer service-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills
