To support/assist the lab supervisors/chemists by performing routine and non-routine laboratory analysis on samples, to support quality assurance/control.
- Comply with Company’s policies, procedures and safety rules and practices
- Perform routine and non-routine lab analysis, calibration & maintenance of test equipment.
- Prepare samples and ensure accurate data generation and records, in accordance with the standard operating procedures
- Utilize analytical instruments to address quality assurance/control issues
- Perform quality assurance/control issues for analytical instruments.
- Prepare chemical stock solutions and reagents, as well as set preparation standards
- Analyzes customer, round robin and/or quality control samples as per industry standards and company procedures in order to verify conformity to specifications and/or standards.

**Job Requirements**
- At least 1 to 2 years' work experience in petroleum laboratory.
- Full specification test based on ASTM, ISO, IP standards for Crude oil, Bio-diesel, Middle and light distillate, Gasoline, Residual fuel.
- Understanding of laboratories QA/QC procedure.
- Required skill(s): Hands on experience of ICP, GC, FTIR, titrator, physical properties analyser etc.
- Meticulous, systematic and possesses knowledge of laboratory practices and procedures, laboratory terminology and equipment use.
- The ability to multi-task.
- A good team player with strong initiative and an analytical mind
- Ability to understand ASTM standards and procedures.
- Must be able to work with all chemical, petrochemical, and petroleum products.
- Must have flexible schedule as position is on 12hrs rotating shift schedule includes weekend and holidays, based on customer needs.
- Salary will commensurate with experience.
