**Working hours**:5.5 days (Monday to Friday Office hours) + Half Saturday
- Surgical Support: Participate and coordinate nursing activities within the day surgery center's operating theatre. This includes preparing and maintaining surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring proper sterilization procedures, and assisting the surgical team during procedures.
- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care to patients undergoing day surgery procedures. Conduct thorough assessments, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and ensure patients are comfortable and prepared for their surgeries. Post-operatively, monitor patients in the recovery area and provide necessary care until they are stable and ready for discharge.
- Management / Leadership: Ensuring efficient and safe operations within the operating theatre. Provide guidance, training, and support to junior staff, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of patient care and safety. Additionally, participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
