**Roles & Responsibilities**

**Job Objectives**
- Experience in Cloudera manager to monitor Hadoop cluster and critical services
- Should have good knowledge and working experience in scripting using (Shell script, awk programming, quick automation to integrating any third party tools), BMC monitoring tools, Server monitoring.
- Should have good knowledge and working experience in Hadoop administration ( incl Hive, Impala, kafka, zookeeper etc.).
- Experience in managing cluster with multiple Petabytes size of data,SSL,BDR,Load balancing and performance tuning.
- Should have good knowledge and working experience in Batch performance tuning and Query performance tuning.
- Should have good knowledge and working experience in implementing Data security and access control using Sentry or Ranger
- Good understanding of Hadoop, HDFS, Impala, Hive, Spark and zookeper. Should be able to identify bottnecks in system performance and ensure Cluster health is optimal.
- Good understanding of Hadoop internals and should be able to suggest Development team on how to store and process data.
- Data compression techniques
- Data model experience is plus, it will helpful to support online Query performance
- Should be able to support team in automating various tasks and suggest various approaches that can be used.

**Key Requirements**
- Prior experience in Hadoop and Server administration is mandatory..
