**About the role**
Your primary goal will be to drive the commercial side of the business in Singapore by working with our CEO to build a high performance sales team, growing our client base, and achieving our revenue goals.
**Who you are**:
- 5+ years of experience in sales or business development at a software company in the HR tech, retail, F&B or logistics industries
- Comfortable working with sales quotas and in a fast-paced, dynamic, often times chaotic startup environment
**Main responsibilities**
As the Head of Sales, Singapore you will be the trusted link between our customers and our company. You will lead and build the Singapore sales team to ensure that Jod achieves its goals for business growth and customer acquisition. You responsibilities include:
Owning and driving commercial growth for Jod in Singapore:
- Build a data-driven sales strategy for the Singapore market and own the quotas for Singapore.
- Work with management and lead the pitch, proposal and closing of large enterprise opportunities in Singapore.
- Lead local strategic partnerships to improve our sales funnel.
- Build and maintain good relationships with industry leaders, participate in industry events, utilize offline and online platforms to be recognized as an industry expert.
- Ensure our local collateral, messaging and proposals
Creating and leading a high performing team of salespeople and account managers:
- Champion a culture of collaboration, accountability and learning.
- Develop a workplace that our team loves to come to.
- Mentor the sales team regularly to improve their funnel health and ensure that they are on track to meet their sales targets and goals.
