The Emerging Systems Division focuses research and development on a broad spectrum of capabilities that are critical to the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) defence systems. These include antenna design and electromagnetics, as well as next-wave technologies in the areas of lasers and advanced materials.

Control Engineer

In this role, you will:

- Design and implement control algorithms for stabilized platform, including mass stabilization system using gimbals and line
- of-sight stabilization using mirror.
- Perform simulation of stabilization and pointing performance by modelling system behaviour and analysing platform motion disturbance
- Be involved in the implementation of control algorithm and design experiment to test performance using a Hardware-in-the-loop facility
- Work with a multi-discipline team for system integration and performance evaluation

**Requirements**:

- PhD / Masters /Bachelor#s Degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in control systems design and implementation
- Proficiency with Simulation and Modelling Software such as MATLAB
- Familiar with HWIl testing methodologies
- Experience in C/C++
