CMA Ships, a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, covers all facets of the maritime business: from the fleet management of the vessels to that of the crew members.

CMA Ships is also a team of experts responsible for implementing innovative solutions and making CMA CGM vessels more energy efficient.

The Fleet Manager will lead the assigned Fleet Management team and be overall responsible for the vessels assigned to that team, as well as be the focal point for the Fleet Director.

Key tasks and responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Implementing according to company IMS and executing accordingly the company planned maintenance program

Accountable for P&L of his fleet, ensuring all operating costs are closely monitored and within budget.

Responsible for day-to-day management of the team and vessels assigned.

Monitors vessels performance, shipboard maintenance and repair programs, dry docks specifications, deficiencies, class and flag surveys and ensuring that these are completed within the required time.

Timely reporting to Fleet Director on operational status, budgets, issues etc

Management of the team, including regular briefings, objective settings, performance reviews, identifying training, knowledge and skills improvement etc.

Assist with emergency responses as required.

Liaise with various stakeholders and departments (Masters, crew management department, new buidling department, chartering department etc) on related matters and ensuring swift communication of information and feedback.

**Minimum Qualifications**:
Extensive experience as a Deputy Fleet Manager or Fleet Superintendent

Competent with various softwares, such as word, excel, powerpoint,etc

Adequate knowledgeof the vessel and vessel systems.

Strong analytical skills, results oriented, ability to multi-task and organise.

Effective verbal, written and presentation skills

Ability to work both independently and in a team-based environment.

Demonstrated management skills and willingness to be flexible to change priorities
