**Some of the key responsibilities will include**:

- Provide overall analytics and insight on the bank wide investment spend to drive cost optimisation and robust benefit realisation in line with bank level commitments. Work in very close partnership with Group FP&A on overall management of the portfolio as part of the wider performance management framework.
- Provide insight on risks and opportunities across the portfolio by working with the relevant business and function CFOs. Work with the relevant investment portfolios to ensure Cash and Opex budgets are not exceeded.
- Ownership of the end to end guidance and execution of finance planning cycles for the investment portfolio
- Support bank wide prioritisation activity to determine how best to allocate finite resources to drive the greatest value for the bank as a whole. This would include support for the contingency funding release governance process.
- Provide leadership to define processes that enable the insight on impact of BAU spend when initiatives end.
- Provide thought leadership to improve performance management with regard to investment spend and the relationship to BAU cost and activity

**To be eligible for this role you will require**:

- Qualified Accountant with 10+ years PQE
- Experience of providing finance business partnering to a large organization (ideally Financial Services institution), including extensive cost management.
- Strong understanding of technology infrastructure, having supported a business in the past on large-scale technology spend/budgets
