Our client is a leading private equity firm that focuses on control buyouts of high growth middle market businesses in Southeast Asia. It is expanding and looking to hire an investment Associate to join its growing team.

As an Investment Associate, your primary responsibilities include but are not limited to working on execution of investment transactions, conducting financial analyses, industry and company research, sourcing of investment opportunities, and portfolio monitoring.”

The coverage will be SEA focused with coverage of all industry sectors.

**Requirements**:

- **Possess a strong academic background. You should have a good Bachelor’s degree (1st Class or 2nd Upper honours) from a reputable university, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering.**:

- **2 to 4 years of working experience preferably gained in a top tier investment bank, buyside firm (e.g. private equity, credit funds etc) or management consulting**:

- **Open to cands from all sector coverage.**:

- **Added geographical familiarity with the Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia market is preferred given the SEA focus of the role. Also open to returning cands from US or Europe.**:

- Strong interpersonal and communication (spoken and written) skills
- Able to deal with multiple stakeholders
- Has excellent financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Self-starter with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Added language proficiency covering Mandarin or Bahasa Indonesia is preferred due to the SEA coverage (but this is not a must)
