Job Description Summary: Finance and Accounting professionals at PayPal manage the planning, reporting and operations of financials. As an essential member of the Finance and Accounting teams, you’ll work closely with business functions to review and report on financials. Partnering with members of our finance organization, you’ll develop an understanding of the monthly financial process, operating rhythms, and business insights. We’re looking for self-starters with a keen eye for detail and a sharp sense for strong business decisions. This is a 5 to 6 months fulltime internship, starting from May 2025 onwards. PayPal can accommodate credit-bearing internship.

**Job Description**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with monthly and quarterly preparation of financial reports and analytics to support risk-based management review
- Work closely with stakeholders including tax, treasury, transfer pricing, accounting teams as part of the operational review process
- Prepare ad-hoc analysis and support on new initiatives
- Engage in continuous process improvement efforts and finance governance projects

**Basic Requirements**:

- Will be graduating with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field from an accredited college or university
- Have an inherent interest in Finance/Accounting and great business acumen
- Be willing to work in a fast-paced environment and partner with cross-functional teams
- A great communicator with focus and attention to details
- Problem solver
- Ability to understand complex tax and legal entity structures
- Great analytical skills
- Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Experience with the following tools will be beneficial: SAP, Essbase, Blackline, Power BI
