**Job Position**: Senior/Engineer - Supplier Quality
**Department**:Supply Chain Management

**Primary Job Purpose**:

- Serve as the primary Purchasing Supplier Quality liaison between Operation and the Supplier
- Support PML purchased productive supplier quality issue after Product SOP
- Monitor and evaluate suppliers quality performance to ensure Continuous Improvement of purchased productive parts quality
- Conduct Supplier Manufacturing Capability Assessment and Quality workshops with suppliers.
- Assess purchase productive part suppliers to determine whether the suppliers’ quality system and its process controls are acceptable
- Serve as technical resource to Engineering, Operation and SDE
- Involved in APQP process with selected suppliers including final part approval of assigned regional commodities
- Meet core competency expectations
- Special assignment
**Formal education and experience**
- Degree in Engineering
- About 3 -8 years of experience in Engineering preferred
- Preferably have experiences manufacturing process
- Ability to facilitate most conflict situations and/or appropriately seek immediate supervisors assistance
- Functions independently with mínimal supervision and some technical guidance
Proficient in reading print/drawings and interpretation of parts specification skills
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively organize and plan
- Good Presentation skills
- PC literacy - Excel, PowerPoint
- Advanced SPC techniques
- Familiar to IATF16949
- Ability to Travel
